Bactrocera cucurbitae genome assembly Bcur_v1

Analysis NameBactrocera cucurbitae genome assembly Bcur_v1
MethodAllpaths (49856)
SourceBactrocera cucurbitae strain USDA-PBARC White Pupae T1, whole genome shotgun sequencing project
Date performed2015-02-14
A short insert library was constructed from a single melon fly (USDA ID 2M2-2). A 3 kb mate-paired library was constructed from a single melon fly that is a full sibling of the first melon fly (USDA ID 2M1-4). An 8 kb mate-paired library was constructed from a pool of individuals from the T1 colony (T1 pool). Sequencing and DNA extractions were done separately for each library then the reads from the three libraries were pooled to generate the assembly.
