Description

Onthophagus taurus community annotators performed manual annotation updates on Onthophagus taurus Genome Assembly 1.0 (10.15482/USDA.ADC/1255156) via the Apollo2 software (https://github.com/gmod/apollo) at the i5k Workspace@NAL (https://i5k.nal.usda.gov). These annotations were reviewed by the i5k Workspace@NAL and lifted over to assembly Otau_2.0 (GCF_000648695.1) via LiftOff (https://github.com/agshumate/Liftoff). Overlaps with RefSeq annotations were computed using gff3_merge (https://github.com/NAL-i5K/GFF3toolkit). Fasta sequences were generated using gff3_to_fasta (https//github.com/NAL-i5K/GFF3toolkit).
