Common Name | Tawny crazy ant |
Description | The genome of the tawny crazy ant, Nylanderia fulva, was sequenced to provide a resource for targeting genes using RNAi approaches for controlling this invasive pest ant, and for providing genomic resources to the community of researchers studying ants. Genomic DNA was extracted from pooled whole bodies of individual worker ants from a single colony from Texas City, Texas, U.S.A. This dataset is not published - please follow Toronto/Ft. Lauderdale conditions of data re-use. Genome update. Previously, the i5k Workspace@NAL hosted Nylanderia fulva genome assembly TAMU_Nfulva_1.0 (GCF_005281655.1), NCBI Nylanderia fulva Annotation Release 100, and Functional annotations of NCBI Nylanderia fulva Annotation Release 100. The assembly and annotations have updated to the most recent assembly, Nylanderia fulva genome assembly TAMU_Nfulva_1.1 (GCF_005281655.2)(https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/datasets/genome/GCF_005281655.2//), NCBI Nylanderia fulva Annotation Release 100 (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genome/annotation_euk/Nylanderia_fulva/100/), and Functional annotations of NCBI Nylanderia fulva Annotation Release 100 (https://i5k.nal.usda.gov/data/Arthropoda/nylful-%28Nylanderia_fulva%29/TAMU_Nfulva_1.1/3.Additional%20Gene%20Sets%20and%20Annotation%20Projects/). |
