Athalia rosae
Resource Type | Organism |
---|---|
Genus | Athalia |
Species | rosae |
Common Name | Turnip sawfly |
Description | No genome information of primitive hymenoptera (Symphyta, sawfly) is available vs higher suborder (Apocrita, Apis, Nasonia etc.). This species is a hymenopteran model maintained in laboratory through year. Tools such that transgenesis, systemic RNAi, artificial egg activation, artificial fertilization by cryopreserved sperm injection, etc. are established. DNA from a single haploid male (10-15 microgram/male) and from haploid offspring from a single mother (30-50 males) are available anytime. Data were generated by the Baylor College of Medicine's i5k pilot project. View the Baylor College of Medicine's data sharing policy. Genome update. Previously, the i5k Workspace@NAL hosted Athalia rosae genome assembly Aros_2.0 (GCF_000344095.2), Athalia rosae annotations OGSv1.2, NCBI Athalia rosae Annotation Release 102 and Functional annotation of BCM annotation of the Athalia rosae assembly using Maker and additional analyses. The assembly and annotations have updated to the most recent assembly, Athalia rosae genome assembly iyAthRosa1.1 (GCF_917208135.1) (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/datasets/genome/GCF_917208135.1/), Athalia rosae annotations OGSv1.3 (https://i5k.nal.usda.gov/data/Arthropoda/athros-%28Athalia_rosae%29/iyAthRosa1.1/2.Official%20or%20Primary%20Gene%20Set/), NCBI Athalia rosae Annotation Release 103 (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genome/annotation_euk/Athalia_rosae/103/), and Functional annotation of NCBI Athalia rosae Annotation Release 103 (https://i5k.nal.usda.gov/data/Arthropoda/athros-%28Athalia_rosae%29/iyAthRosa1.1/3.Additional%20Gene%20Sets%20and%20Annotation%20Projects/). |
